Morwellham on Fluted Glass Sample

Our Fluted glass, reverse gilded with our Morwellham finish. Reverse gilded with 150mm square Copper Leaf in a grid formation. This finish is an oil gilt finish and is non-reflective. You can see the lines of the leaf and there will be some variations in colour and tone across the panel.

The fluted pattern repeat is approximately 12mm.

SPECIFY FINISH: Morwellham on Fluted

GLASS TYPE: Clear

Maximum panel sizes are:

6mm thick glass: 1650w x 3350h mm with flutes running vertically or 3350W x 1650mm with reeds running horizontally.

4mm thick glass: 1320W x 2140mm with flutes running vertically or 2140W x 1320 with reeds running horizontally.

Glass Thickness: Available in 6mm thick glass and can be toughened. 4mm is also available but we suggest 6mm for most applications.

Reflective Quality: Whilst the glass reflects light it does not offer a mirrored reflection.

  • NB. Textured glass is impressed with the fluted pattern when the glass is semi-molten state. During this process, the glass is very mobile and easily distorted, so there can be some misalignment of the pattern across the width of the glass as the rollers pull it through. This deviation is catered for in BS EN 572-2 'Patterned Glass'. The standards allow a deviation of 12mm per metre run.
